neil parker

After attending Tennis Canada's Western Canadian National Training Centre in Vancouver as a junior, Neil went on to a tennis scholarship at North Eastern Oklahoma University. Neil began his coaching career in Victoria. Since then, he has been a full time pro and tennis director from seasonal outdoor clubs to large indoor tennis centres across Canada. Neil has also coached internationally for PBI.

Beginning in 2001, Neil trained hundreds of coaches as a Tennis Canada course facilitator. Neil co-developed a DVD with Wayne Elderton that is highly rated by the ITF for developing red court players. He produces videos for Tennis Canada, USTA and has licensed pro footage to Transworld Sport. As a pioneer in the use of video and tennis, he has produced projects such as the first interactive video tennis lesson and the first video tennis instructional app for the iPhone. Recently Neil has been the head tennis professional at the Alberta Tennis Centre and head of jr tennis at the Glencoe Club in Calgary. When not coaching, Neil enjoys acting and has appeared in several commercials, movies and the Fox series "Gracepoint"
